Anyone who requires you to disarm is not your friend, and not our friend. Only when all peaceable citizens can freely exercise their inalienable right to self defense, and their right to keep and bear arms, will we attain the ultimate safeguard for our mutual protection, as individuals, as members of a community, and as citizens of the Republic. The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness extends to all human beings, and all who support the right to keep and bear arms are welcome here... period.

The Indiana Militia has a new, full-time adjutant to handle the workload of people who want to join and stand for liberty. Please pass the word!
All requests for information through the website will go through the adjutant before being passed to the appropriate brigade, for quality control purposes. This should address the previous challenges we faced in responding to those who have tried to contact us through the website. By better delegating essential staff functions, the Indiana Militia will continue to improve our ability to function and move toward our goals.
For those looking to contact the militia, you may visit our CONTACT IMC page to email the brigade commander in your area. HQ will continue to take calls on our toll-free number (see below), and if you are interested in joining and would like us to send you an application, you may visit our "how to join" page and use our online request form to receive a copy of our membership standards and the application. By providing some basic information, we can contact you and answer your questions.
As a member, some of the areas of training that will be made available to you are: Marksmanship,
Land Navigation & Compass Reading, First aid & CPR, Radio Communications, NBC defense and
HazMat protection, Defensive vehicle tactics, Civil Assistance to local police / sheriffs, Defense in Urbanized Terrain, Search & Rescue, and much more!
If you are a college graduate or have prior administrative, public safety or military experience and would like to become an officer in the Indiana Militia, contact the Senior Brigade Commander for details on becoming a commissioned officer. We need leaders!
Advanced placement available for those who have earned EAGLE rank in the BSA or have completed ROTC.
