If you live in Indianapolis or surrounding counties including:
Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Madison, Marion, or Morgan counties, Then you live in 5th (HQ) Brigade
If you live in the Southwest part of Indiana including:
Clay, Crawford, Dubois, Daviess, Gibson, Greene, Knox, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange, Owen, Parke, Perry, Pike, Posey, Putnam, Spencer, Sullivan, Warrick, Vigo, or Vanderburgh counties... Then you live in 3rd Brigade
If you live in Southeast Indiana including:
Bartholomew, Brown, Clark, Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Ohio, Ripley, Rush, Shelby, Scott, Switzerland, Wayne or Washington counties... Then you live in 4th Brigade
Joining the Indiana Militia is easy!
First, you must be a citizen of Indiana. Download the official IMC application, print it out, and mail it in to IMC at PO Box 53, Pendleton, Ind 46064 - or contact IMC HQ for your IMC application by completing the online membership request on the appropriate page. You will be asked to submit personal identification information to verify that you are a law abiding citizen of Indiana to process your membership into IMC.
The application form is important; that we may contact you and get to know you better, and so you can get to know us. Once this information has been sent to us, you are on your way to becoming an actively involved militia member. Before you are admitted, you will be given materials for new members such as your militia handbook and some other orientation materials.
We also have a members-only message board. (open net traffic for members with computers)
The message board is only for members of the militia; this is to keep troublemakers, provocateurs and hooligans off the board. Once a member is authorized to access the message board, they're cleared to enter all general membership areas. Unit commanders will be granted additional access to command & staff areas.
The message board rules are simple:
Keep it clean, courteous, and professional. There will be NO tolerance for profanity/obscenity, threats, racist or sexist language. The actions of everyone in the patriot movement are subject to intense scrutiny and the highest of standards; we are to be leaders. Violators of this policy will be REMOVED from the site and will be reported to their unit commander. Repeat violators will be permanently banned, refused re-entry to the message board, and subject to disciplinary action.
The Indiana Militia Corps will NOT allow itself to be used as a platform for other agendas.
Note: The online submission does NOT automatically enlist you in the Indiana Militia. It is only to send your non-sensitive contact info, so someone can call on you and answer any questions you may have; or to send you a copy of the IMC application in case you have difficulty downloading the form. Online submission is not an obligation to join.
Note 2: Convicted felons, racists, moral reprobates, socialists, anarchists, & provocateurs are not welcome. If you fit any of these categories, save your energy and our time and do not apply.
