The Enemy Of Our Nation

Ladies & gentlemen:
The greatest threat to the secure future of America is not the "Axis of
Evil", Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Al Qaida, or even China.
The greatest threat to the secure future of America is the president, the
House of Representatives and the Senate of the United States of America.
A careful and objective analysis of the decisions to inflict America with
the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the General Agreement On
Trade And Tariffs (GATT) and the decision to grant normal trade relations to
Communist China reveal that those who actually control America are American
corporations. American corporations are the largest contributors to the
election campaigns of whomever they want elected, regardless of party
affiliation. There is no other adequate explanation for why there is only
one outspoken Representative Ron Paul. I honestly cannot think of another
elected official in the Oval Office or in Congress who has the best interest
of the American citizens at heart, and as I write this I realize Ron Paul
might have voted in favor of NAFTA and GATT himself.
This inquiring mind would like to know.
But who stood to unilaterally gain the most from the passage of NAFTA, GATT
and normalized trade relations with China? Answer: Large American
corporations, a few of their upper-level employees and officers, and the
elected American officials who did their bidding. Neither NAFTA or GATT
were ever intended to benefit the general American population, but to make a
relatively few powerful business people and the elected representatives they
bought, obscenely rich -- rich beyond the imagination and comprehension of
most Americans betrayed by them.
Why do you think President George W. Bush pushed for bankruptcy reform
legislation the moment he took office? The largest single contributors to
Bush's presidential campaign were credit card companies who saw the economic
downturn coming from American job losses caused by NAFTA and GATT.
The big American corporations all knew it was going to happen. They
correctly foresaw a massive increase in American bankruptcy filings, and
tried to make it impossible for Americans to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
Instead, they wanted bankruptcy reform that would force American debtors
into Chapter 11 "reorganization" filings, which would require payments until
the debt is repaid entirely. Failing that, the creditors could come after
everything you own, including your house and car.
In view of the fact the average American household credit card
month-to-month balance is $8,000.00, one can certainly understand why the
credit card companies lobbied for that legislation. Fortunately or
unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, that legislation failed
passage last year due to squabbling over amendments, and to my knowledge it
hasn't been reintroduced since. But when we really understand who stood to
benefit from it, it was large American corporations, and not the general
population.
Why do you think Communist Viet Nam was granted American trade status, while
little Communist Cuba was not? Outside of tourism and sugar, Cuba doesn't
have anything more to offer large American corporations, and in fact, cheap
sugar would pose a threat to some of them. Viet Nam, however, does offer
many raw natural resources and a cheap labor force, just like China. Were
any of those decisions for the benefit of the average American on the
street? Obviously and clearly not.
So why did I not name the large American corporations the true enemy of our
nation? It is because they didn't swear an oath to uphold and defend our
Constitution and our way of life. They are foresworn to their shareholders
to make a profit in every way they can, and for the most part, they did.
But those 535 or so elected representatives in Washington D.C. did swear an
oath to us, an oath most of them intended to violate the moment they took
their seat of power. Without them, the large American corporations were
powerless to have affected these changes that have set America on a pathway
to economic disaster. To me and to most of you, that is unacceptable.
There are only 535 or so of them, plus their security. There are 285
million of us who have almost all been betrayed in one way or another. We
can take them anytime we want to, and with a minimum of casualties. Anytime
we want to, we can retake America, break off all trade relations except
those we want, and restore our Constitutional Republic to what the Founding
Fathers intended it to be. We can bring prayer and God and Jesus back to
school, anytime we want to. We can collectively teach our children there is
a black and white difference between right and wrong, anytime we want to.
We can replace our elected leaders with those of good conscience, heart and
soul, anytime we want to. We could do it all today, if we really wanted to,
and we're going to look back at some dismal time in the future that awaits
us, knowing that.
We can do it, and we should do it, but we haven't done it, and God knows it!
That is why I fear God is about to bring great sorrow to this entire nation,
and deservedly so. All we have to do is to collectively get our "want to"
fixed before it's too late.
