Are You Doing Your Constitutional Duty For "HOMELAND SECURITY"?
An introduction by MG William A. Flatt

This month I want to share with you the editorials of Dr. Edwin Vieira, who may be more qualified to speak on 2nd Amendment issues than most Americans.  His background and education speaks for itself.

Before I post a link to his archive, allow me to introduce the articles that I strongly recommend for your reading pleasure:

PART ONE of this commentary explains why "the Militia of the several States" are the fundamental constitutional components of "homeland security".

PART TWO explains who actually comprises "the Militia of the several States"; how Congress and the States--contrary to their constitutional duties--are almost completely neglecting the Militia; and why average Americans need to revitalize the Militia as soon as possible.

PART THREE explores whether revitalization of the Militia can actually come about if Americans simply arm and train themselves as individuals and in lawful private organizations, or if a more structured approach is necessary.

I believe that Dr. Vieira's approach to the Second Amendment not only merits close study, I believe that he has eloquently and accurately identified the reasoning behind the need for a modern day militia network.  IMC supports the creation of such a network under the commissioning authority of the 3CC.
