Four More Years! (Say Hello to the National ID Card)

On Election Day, America was given another four years of George W. Bush. For better or worse, we are maintaining the status quo. It would have been preferable to get a third-party candidate such as Libertarian Mike Badnarik, or Constitution Party candidate Michael Peroutka. Of course, as long as we have a party system, I will always contend that third party candidates have a snowball's chance in hell of breaking the CFR-controlled party monopoly of the Republicrats & Demoblicans.
(Between the lines, those names read as 'not a lick of difference between the two'.)
What we CAN expect from this month's election result is the continuation of the illegal and unconstitutional war in Iraq; and although we in the militia will certainly support the individual soldier on-the-ground who is doing the bleeding and dying, we will continue to oppose ALL violations of the Constitution and hold these violations as examples of the usurpation of our de jure form of government (a limited Republic) by this de facto regime (a federal-legislative socialist oligarchy).
Another thing that you can expect to see with great certainty is the push for a national ID card, and total police state power in the hands of government to spy on Americans. The need for domestic surveillance and control, now, is to prevent and contain any organized resistance that will occur when they finally move to abolish the Constitution. It may happen after the next terrorist attack, as Gen. Tommy Franks warned, or it may happen when our CFR-dominated government capitulates to the contrived need for a pan-American union similar to the European Union. That particular treason is planned for about 2010, at their current pace.
The mechanism for Big Brother in America would be the proposed National Intelligence bill in Congress. It would give the CIA a charter to operate domestically along with the FBI, and in effect create an American Stasi, if the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission are followed. And don't forget that the 9/11 Commission was stacked with government insiders and NWO-loyal members of the CFR.
If the patriot movement doesn't start getting really and properly organized, we will soon find ourselves becoming part of the American Gulag Archipelago and we'll not fare as well as former Soviet dissident Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn did. More on this after we see how this evil legislation gets passed.
For years now, the elites have pushed for a nationalized driver's license as a means to create a national ID card when it was realized that HillaryCare was not going to work as a covert means to a National ID system. In order to confiscate America's firearms, they must do an end-run around our other freedoms. Rather than doing a frontal assault on the 2nd Amendment, they will offer disarming platitudes about the 2nd Amendment that 'affirms' the individual right while they directly assault all our other liberties.
With a national ID card, firearms registration and gun-owner identification becomes easier to accomplish on the sly. The federal government can create a master database on everyone without anyone being able to find out what's in his or her individual file. Attitudes and beliefs, gun ownership, military skills, IQ, education, and much more can all be secretly kept in a file that you would not be allowed to view. Dissidents could be identified early and rounded up later, as could anyone else who is classified as an undesirable. Patriots, homeschoolers and born-again Christians have already been labeled by the FBI as 'terrorists'.
I could go on about this at length, but quite frankly it is making me physically ill to see our freedom being systematically destroyed without a popular outcry. Of course, with totalitarian control like this, everybody is afraid to speak out for fear of the consequences.
Consider the words of Thomas Jefferson: "When the people are in fear of the government, there is Tyranny; when the government is in fear of the people, there is Liberty".
